This application form is for current JD students at Partnership Schools, seeking a dual Master's degree from Vermont Law and Graduate School.  VLGS Partnership Schools are Elon University, Northeastern University, University of South Carolina, University of South Dakota, and Quinnipiac University.  Candidates must be a matriculated student, in good standing in their current JD instutition to be eligible to apply for this program.  


Candidates seeking our JD degrees or international candidates to our LLM programs need to apply via the Law School Admission Council's application portal.  Candidates seeking a different stand-alone graduate program should apply using the standard Graduate Application Form linked here.

Degree Program

VLGS Dual Master's Degree Programs begin in the Summer Semester of your 1L or 2L year.  If your proposed start semester is different than Summer Semester, please contact the Admissions Office.
The Master of Legal Studies (MLS) starts in Fall 2024. 


Please refer to the VLGS website for program descriptions and admission requirements for the Dual Degree programs. (Admission to a VLGS Graduate Program does not ensure admission to a Dual Degree program.)  Also note that participating schools have their own deadlines and requirements - please consult with their respective admissions offices.
